Christmas Time

Wes and I went to Las Vegas for the week before Christmas this year (we had to come back to Houston on the 23rd so I could work Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Loved being low man on the totem pole AGAIN). We had a blast! The best part was seeing my lovely sister, Elaina, who just came home from her 18-month mission a few days before we flew in. I had missed her so much. I wish I'd gotten a picture of her picking us up from the airport but there were too many hugs being given to worry about taking a picture. Suffice it to say, it was so awesome. Among the many things we did on the trip were attending a baby shower hosted for me by my mom and sister (so fun!), playing lots of Christmas violin/piano music, going to seminary with my mom, watching the BYU bowl game, and going to Disneyland for a day! It was the perfect day to go because it lightly rained the whole day which kept the crowds away. I couldn't talk my doctor into letting me ride any of the roller coasters but that was ok. I honestly think waiting in line for rides is half the fun anyway:) Plus, I got to go on It's a Small World for maybe the first time in 15 years. I also brought my new camera which Wes gave me for my birthday and had fun taking pictures. It was a great week and I can't wait to see the family again soon.
