A Tour of Our Home: Before & After

We bought this house about a month ago. We had two weeks of overlap with our apartment, so before we moved in we did the flooring and painted. After moving in we did the lighting and a few other projects. It was a big project, but we're so happy with how it turned out and love home ownership! It's keeping us busy!

After: Unfortunately, the yard has taken a turn for the worst. Houston is in a terrible drought.

The entryway. We love how the wood floors turned out!

After: Painted and added recessed lighting. Our furniture totally does not match the new wall color,but it'll all be moved into the living room when I find a better, more comfortable couch on Craigslist:)

Wes made this chair in his high school wood shop class. Added a few of my old stuffed animals.

Before: The bright, green master bedroom. Seriously who paints their ceiling green?!

After: Still need to touch up a few places and, of course, address the boring walls
