Smart Cookie

Ella likes getting into the pantry and pulling things off the shelves. Consequently, the only things currently within her reach are the paper towels and a box of cookie bags. Even though she loves to pull those bags out, I thought for sure there was no way she could open them. Boy, was I wrong. I turned around from doing the dishes this morning to find her chowing down as fast as she could on probably the best thing she's ever eaten (pretty safe bet when you consider pureed vegetables and crackers are the staples of her diet). She looked so darn proud of her accomplishment that I let her indulge in a cookie or two. Seems her mother's chocoholic gene will live on.
